This month, team members with the Stampers with An Attitude Team with Close To My Heart are featuring artwork with the beautiful La Vie En Rose paper pack.
If you are coming from Kimberly's Blog, you are on the right track. You can find a list of all participants by clicking here if you were to get lost along the way.
I love all the black and white patterns contained in this paper back. This, by far, is my favorite. One can't go wrong with polka dots! The Pear patterned paper came from the Kaleidoscope paper pack. Gotta love you could add any choice of color to compliment these patterns. The glitter you see is paper from our Glitter Paper collection - comes in a variety of colors. (Do not tell anyone I had not bought any until recently but it is okay because it is a new obsession and I will be ordering it in other colors! LOL)
The roses were stamped with Hollyhock, Black and Pixie inks using second generation stamping that is perfect for our base 'n shade stamps. It is called second generation because you get a lighter hue of the stamp pad by stamping the image on scratch paper, lightening the second image. I have provided a visual below to show you how simple this is. It generates such fabulous results with little effort.
I love it and this stamp set which is our January Stamp of the Month, Beloved Bouquet. It's only $5 this month with a $50 purchase!
Happy hoppin'!
Lovely card! I so love the way you stamped the large flower! The Hollyhock really pops with the black!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I did love the way that Hollyhock and black came together!
DeletePretty, pretty, pretty. Great card.
ReplyDeleteWell thank you so much for saying so! :)
DeleteOh Excellent talking about the layered stamping!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Wendy! I actually thought to take step by step photos this time, hoping it would help people understand how we look so artistic with little effort. :)
DeleteThanks, Melissa, for the step by step. Its so easy to explain or follow. Your educational degree is showing. :)
