"Florals" - Heart 2 Heart Challenge

Happy Monday! Here's wishing you a positive start to the work week.

"Florals" is the theme for this week's Heart 2 Heart Challenge, which is actually the first one for May. You can participate by creating artwork of your own, linking up to the respective Challenge on the Blog, ensuring that you incorporate something from Close To My Heart in your creation. That's all that's required. Considering joining us!

I totally enjoyed creating this card using the Make It From Your Heart, Volume 4, How-to Book. I couldn't resist incorporating the April Stamp of the Month one more time. (It's only available until the end of this month and can be yours, with a qualifying order, for $5!)

Sugarplum, our Color of the Year, was incorporated throughout, even in the way of the Glitter Paper. Isn't it pretty? Other colors added were: Fern, New England Ivy and Sapphire.

The dimensional elements of the card really added to its design. The opaque Sequins are from the I Heart Us Sequins

Let me know if you have any questions about you can participate in Heart to Heart's Challenges

Make it a great week...or not...the choice is yours!

Zoe Blog Hop

Do you remember this paper pack from a few years ago? No, you're not dreaming... Zoe is BACK and better than ever, with some refreshed colors and a NEW 12" sheet of stickers you are sure to love!

Today, we are highlighting artwork created with these exclusive products, good through the end of May, while supplies last. There are several ways you can purchase the items, receiving a discount when you purchase the entire kit bundle, which includes a stamp set. Click HERE for all the details.

If you are coming from Catherine's Blog, you are on the right track. You can find a list of participants by clicking here.

I created four scrapbook layouts created with the Zoe products and then used the remaining items to make this fun card.

The sentiment and popsicle images are stickers from the sheet I mentioned above. I simply cut a square out of the polka dot paper, trimmed it diagonally to create two triangles and then added the Sweet Leaf Zip Strip flush against it.

A bit of Thin 3-D Foam Dots, a Journaling Pen, some Black Dotsand Liquid Glass (on the popsicle to make it shiny) were all I added to make this simple & sweet. (I may or may not know that something great is coming for the Liquid Glass on May 1st). ðŸ˜‰

I truly appreciate you stopping by to check out the card I have to share with you. Please head over to Michelle's Blog to see what she has created.

Enjoy the end to your week!

Highlight the Details - CTMH Technique Blog Hop

Thank you for joining us this week as we use Close To My Heart products to "Highlight the Details". Participating Consultants can interpre the theme as they see fit so be sure to make your way around the circle to see what they have to showcase.

If you are coming from Tamara's Blog, you are on the right track. You can find a complete list of participants at the bottom of this post.

I decided to "highlight" the word on the sentiment, by using the BACK of a stamp image - which created a solid "block", and the Peep (which I love), by placing the stitched heart behind it.

The "Bunny Trail" stamp set was used.

To create the highlighed image, I placed the "Know that I care" sentiment backwards on a block. That created a solid surface that I then inked.

With various techniques, even in how items are highlighted on your card, you can draw attention to different elements of your card.

Now, head on over to Catherine's Blog to see what she has to share with you!

We appreciate you stopping by and always enjoy reading your comments. Happy hoppin'!

"Weather" or Not - Heart 2 Heart Challenge

Good morning! Here's wishing a great start to your week with a card I created to align with the "Weather or Not" theme for this week's Heart 2 Heart Challenge. Anyone can participate by simply incorporating CTMH products in their artwork. Why don't you join us?!

I pulled some leftovers from the "I Heart Us" paper pack and Complements to create this card. I figured there was no better focal point to use than the sun, to align with this theme.

The card design is Pattern 14 from Make It From Your Heart Volume 4

This challenge runs through the end of this month and new ones are released each week. If you aren't familiar with the challenge, head on over to the Heart 2 Heart Blog and check it out. Of course, feel free to contact me if you have questions.

Have a blessed week!

Spring Cleaning with Blog with Friends

Welcome to today's Blog with Friends where I join several bloggers to share some fun topics aligned with the theme, "Spring Cleaning". You'll find links to their blogs at the bottom of this post.

This fun Spring card is perfect for the occasion because of its' name and the fact that small pieces of paper are used to create it; just in time for spring cleaning, right?! You can totally change out the paper and focal images for any occasion you desire.

I especially love this different fold because when I adjusted it slightly, it fits into a standard-size envelope which is perfect for mailing!
I used the "Love so Sweet", April Stamp of the Month, for the stamped images. I love it and you can get it for a great price, this month only!

I'm actually teaching this on my Customer VIP Group later this evening. I'll post a link to the video when I'm finished or you're welcome to join us there!

(Kim Wolff, a fellow Consultant, shared this pattern with me. I had made one years ago but wouldn't have remembered how to do so.)

Love So Sweet - Stamp of the Month Blog Hop

Happy April and welcome to this month's Blog Hop where we are showcasing this gorgeous Stamp of the Month called "Love So Sweet". I have already used it a lot on several projects and I can totally see that continuing all month long!

You can see the various images that are included in this stamp set, with beautiful spring images, suitable for various occasion. With a $50 purchase you can get it for $5 which is a great deal! To read more about our Stamp of the Month special, please visit this area of my website.

If you are coming from Michelle's Blog, you are on the right track. You can find a complete list of participants by clicking here.

For this greeting card, I chose to use two of the images included in the stamp set, the butterfly and "thanks". Both were stamped in Intense Black which allowed me to color in the butterfly image with the Clear Shimmer Brush and the Smoothie Ink Pad.

The patterned papers used come from the So Much Happy packet.

I did use our Stiched Circle Thin Cuts for the focal point and like how it draws attention to the stamped images. I hope you agree!

Now head on over to Cat's Blog to see what she has created with this stamp set. I appreciate you stopping by and wish you the best April ever!

Be blessed!
