Hip Hip Hooray

I had fun making this fun card using the Freshly Made Sketch pictured below.  I enjoy participating in these sketch challenges and it gives me a basis for designing a card.  I totally need that!
I used the stamp set, "Hooray Bouquet", for both the floral and sentiment image.

This patterned paper comes from the Close To My Heart Chantilly paper packet.  It is a really pretty pattern and I just could not resist using it for this card.  Because of my desire to incorporate this fun floral stamped image, I felt the need to layer it a couple of times so it did not "clash" so much.  While a little busy, I think it is fun!  (I hope you think the same!)
Thanks for stopping by.  Enjoy the rest of your day!

Blessings,

As Sweet as You

This is a card I made with none other than the Chantilly paper packet.  Have I already told you, a million times, that it's one of my favorites?
I kept this card simple, only stamping two images, the cupcake and the sentiment in Black ink.  I used our Cotton Candy Exclusive Inks Marker Set to color in the cupcake image and then added in some of our Pink Glitz Glitter Gel to pretty up the sprinkles on the cupcake.

The cupcake image was cut out of the Artiste Cricut Cartridge and the scallop image, out of the Art Philosophy Cartridge.  The cupcake image is in one of the stamp sets included with the Artiste Collection.

Happy Days Journal

I was thrilled when I saw the new lined journal we began carrying this summer.  I had been debating about how I wanted to decorate it and am thankful the creative mojo hit me this past weekend.  :)
It became pretty easy when I decided to use the Chantilly Complements Dimensional Elements and am thrilled with how it turned out.  I punched out a few of the dimensionals, arranged them, and here we are!  I tried blinging it up a bit but felt the colors of the elements were enough and I did not want to take away from their "pretty".
I was concerned with what adhesive would adhere to the canvas cover and went with Liquid Glass (just $6.96 a bottle and it lasts a a long time).  Who could go wrong with the LG?  :)  It has held up well.  I did save the plastic packaging the journal arrived in and will use it as a protective covering as I transport my journal.  I realize the dimensional items could get caught on something and I would not want that to happen.
The Journal is just $8.95 and can be decorate as your li'l heart desires.  You can even stamp on it!  It, with a matching pen, would make a great gift for someone special.
If you are interested in purchasing these or any other products, please feel free to shop on my website.  You can shop any time of the day/night you want and the items will ship straight to your door.  Click here to start shopping and let me know if you have any questions!

Acrylic Frame Becomes Sticky Note Holder

One of the reasons I fell in love with this craft is the ability to make cute and inexpensive items that are also practical.
This cute sticky note holder is made from a 3 1/2" x 5" acrylic frame from WM.  It cost less than $1 and the possibilities for decorating it...endless
It has been awhile since I made one of these so I thought it was time to make one for my desk.  I used the CUTE Chantilly paper packet, some paper flowers, and of course the Silver Shimmer Trim.  The sentiment, "Oh Happy Day", is from one of the stamp sets that comes with our exclusive Artiste Cricut Cartridge.  Gotta love how the carrier sheet for the stamp indicates how big to cut the banner from the Cricut (1") and on what page I can find it in the booklet in order to press the correct buttons.  Click here to find out more about our exclusive cartridge.  It is well worth the purchase and as much as I have used it, I have yet to tap into its' potential.  (I will be playing with it more throughout the week.)

These little goodies make great gifts for anyone and the wonderful thing is you can decorate them to match any room or office.  If you have any questions, you know where to find me!

Wishing you a happy day,

Chantilly meets Valentine's Day

I am thrilled to host an Open House in my new area (T or C, NM) this Saturday and created this fun card as the Create 'n Take.  Everyone who attends my event will have the opportunity to make one of these cute cards and give it to their special someone.
I used the new Chantilly paper packet (probably my favorite), the December Stamp of the Month (no longer available), and a cute Frames stamp set.

The Perfect Fit - Frames stamp set is absolutely adorable!  In fact, we had one of the stamp sets available in the previous catalog and now have a new one in this Idea Book.  If you look carefully through both Idea Books, you will see them used in quite a bit of artwork so I just had to get them both!
If you notice the fine line around each image...  That means there is a coordinating die-cut image on our exclusive Cricut Cartridges.  The numbers on the carrier sheet (what the stamps come on) indicate what page you can find the image in the resource book as well as the size the image needs to be cut.  Cut the image with your Cricut, ink up your image and stamp as desired.  You end up with a thin border around the image.  Scroll back up and check it out!  Cute, huh?!

If you live in the area, contact me for further information regarding the Open House.

Gotta love how our products work so well together to make papercrafting Faster, Simpler, and Easier!
