What is a Birthday Without Ice Cream?

You guessed it!  The June Stamp of the Month has made another appearance!  (I already told you I am addicted.)
I absolutely love the clean look of this card but despite the "simple", it is so yummy!  Some Smoothie cardstock, some of our Gold Polka-Dot Washi Tape, a strip of Canary cardstock and a scallop circle out of Black Cardstock...  Yep, that's it!  Oh yeah...a little bit of doodling and Gold Sequins did help with the finishing touch!  I truly love it!

This card design was totally CASED by a sweet lady, and fellow Consultant, Karen Pedersen.

Make it a SAAAAAAWEEET Monday!

Carnival & Boardwalk Washi Tape

Who wouldn't be intrigued by the names of our two new Washi Tapes from Close To My Heart?  But...you don't develop a deep love for them until you see them like this!  Aren't they so much fun?!
This is the Carnival Washi Tape.
This is the Boardwalk Washi Tape.
The colors and sayings offer so much possibility for incorporating them into artwork and that is what I am going to focus on this weekend.  In the meantime, I have just been staring at their beauty.  LOL

The rolls are just $5.95 and come with five yards each.  In fact, you actually get three rolls for $5.95 - the sentiments and then some thin, coordinating Washi.  Click here to see those details for Boardwalk and here for Carnival.  You will definitely want to add this to your next order!

May this Thursday be TERRIFIC where ever you are...

Loving Memories are Eternal

It seems rather fitting I am posting this card today.  It is my Grandmother's birthday and I miss her dearly.  I think about her quite often and am grateful for the many days we shared together.  My memories of her are eternal.
I created this card using the Lagoon Hearts Washi Tape as will as the thin washi colors - Canary, Glacier and Pear - that comes with the Carnival and Boardwalk Washi Tape packs.  The stamped flowers come from one of my favorite stamp sets, "Shower Flowers", which coordinates perfectly with the Blossom product line.  The sentiment was using the "Big Hug" stamp set, using black ink.
You know I had to 3-D some of the stamped images for some added dimension to the card.  The card was fun to make and I was pleased with the result.  (If you like it too, let me know by leaving a comment.)

Thanks for stopping by today!  Enjoy the rest of your week!

Fall in Love with our Washi Tape Dispenser

When this dispenser showed up in our newest idea book, Annual Inspirations, I thought, "Okay...that's nice..."  But you know what pushed me over to buy one?  It looked CUTE!  If you know me well, sometimes it doesn't matter the purpose as long as it's cute.  LOL  Well...now I love the purpose - and it's still cute!  They really are completely functional and I love being able to cut off the amount of washi tape I need using this fun tool.

As described in the video below, it holds 1 - 1" or 2 - 1/2" washi tape rolls and contains a removable magnetic wall that ensures easy loading and the ability to connect multiple dispensers side by side.
Watch this video so you can see how easy it is to use!  Then, check out my special offer.
By placing your order through the "October Mystery Hostess Orders" link (shown below), your name will be entered in a drawing for FREE products once the orders reach at least $150.  The order remains open through the end of the month.
Wishing you a FABULOUS week!

Scared Silly

I enjoy the cuteness of Halloween and love these cute little guys included in the "Frightfully Fun" stamp set.  And...the sayings are adorable and non-frightening.  That is a bonus for me too.  :)
I was just sitting around wanting to create a little something using the Black Chevron paper contained in the Paper Fundamentals Basic Assortment and decided, "Oooh!  What if I colored the stripes?"  The paper does have a resist pattern that allows for some fun techniques so I did just that.  Alternating the color of the chevron patterns, this is what it ended up looking like.  Fun, right?  Can you imagine doing so with other color combinations for different themes?
I applied a little bit of Whisper ink to the inside of the mummy and ghost images for some added dimension.  I stamped the "scared silly" sentiment multiple times over the center square, using various coordinating ink pads, and adhered a strip of the Sunset Chevron Washi Tape to the top of the card.  I think I have slowly fallen in love with Washi Tape!  LOL  Yeah...I was not too impressed when washi tape first debuted but it is all the rage now and I have slowly begun incorporating it into my various projects.  It is so simple to use and easy to apply to any project.  Plus, you gotta love the patterns and beautiful colors!

Did you know Close To My Heart has a fun - and it is also cute - Washi Tape Dispenser?  Yep!  We sure do!  In fact, check out my blog post tomorrow with a fun video on how this dispenser is designed. Plus, it's just $6.95!  It would make a great gift or is perfect for fitting inside someone's stocking.
Here's wishing you a Happy Friday and fabulous plans for a wonderful weekend.

Washi Tape on Frame

This is one of the items I "won" during the artwork exchange at the retreat I attended a few weeks ago.  I guess the girl who created it, Jennifer, is all about the Washi Tape and has used it to decorate quite a few items.
With this frame, that was just plain black, she used various Washi Tape designs to decorate the opposite corners of the frame.  The addition of the Cricut-cut title and a few pieces of bling and you have this adorable frame!  (I have to decide what picture to put in it.)

I am placing some Washi Tape on the order I am placing today to see what fun things I can decorate with it!  If you have done so before, I would love to see your creation!  Leave a comment below and share a link to your photo.
