Summer Goodie Idea

Need a little party favor this summer?  I used these beach pails, found at the Dollar Tree for $1, to serve as some table goodies for a team training held this past Saturday.  They served dual purpose as a trash can!  Of course, it was not complete until a handmade tag was attached.
I used this stamp set to make the tag, stamping the top portion of the chevron tag in Lagoon and the bottom, in Canary.  The "You're Pretty Awesome" sentiment was stamped in Smoothie but check out the other cool sentiments you have to choose from...
This stamp set is only available to Hostesses but I will draw for one of these darlings!  All you have to do is make a comment below AND either follow me on Facebook or sign-up to receive my blog posts directly to your inbox (include, in your comment, where you chose to follow me so I can verify you did join me).  I will do the drawing on Saturday, April 25th, at 12 noon - when I will stop collecting names.

Current CTMH Consultants are not eligible.

Everything is Better with a Friend

I seldom come up with any card or scrapbook designs from scratch so am thankful there are various resources from which to be inspired.  Today I used this sketch from CASE(S) this Sketch #111 to create my card.
I made this card for my Secret Sister for this past weekend's retreat.  Her favorite paper packet is Heartstrings so I decided to incorporate it, totally leaning away from it being Valentine related.  I think I was successful!  ;)
I used our Dot Embossing Folder, on Hollyhock cardstock, and then distressed it to expose some of the white core.  I layered it onto a slightly larger piece of White Daisy cardstock to allow for the border, needing to set it off a bit from the patterned B&T.

It is kind of hard to tell but I did paper piece several things in the stamped shopping girl image.  The dress, polka dot and animal print gift bags were all paper pieced.  The remaining items were colored in with our ShinHan markers.  Doesn't it look great?!  (I am a little proud of myself as the paper piecing truly seems almost seamless unless you were to run your finger over it.)
This stamp set, "Everything is Better with a Friend" is only available through March 31, 2015 and is only exclusive to hostesses.  You can get it by hosting a physical or online Gathering or by placing a $150 order.  (Contact me with questions.)  It is definitely one of my favorites!

If you are "off" today because of cold weather in your area, it is a great excuse to get out your papercrafting products!  :)  Have a blessed day!

CTMH Hostess Exclusive Stamps - Blog Hop

Thank you for joining my team, the "Heartfelt Sentiments", as we highlight our Hostess Exclusive Stamp Sets.  There are 11 stamp sets that can only be obtained if you host a Gathering (aka Party).  What does it take to host a party?  Just $150 in orders or $150 purchase if you want to treat yourself!  These exclusive stamp sets can are offered at a great savings, several dollars off their retail price.  Check them out in our online catalog, "Annual Inspirations", beginning on page 5 and continuing through page 10.  Click here for the online version.

If you are coming from Debi's Blog, you are on the right track, and I KNOW you saw some cute artwork using the "Hats Off" stamp set!  You can find a list of all participants at the end of this post.

I chose to highlight the "Be Jolly" stamp set.  I tend to be one who is ready for Christmas when it arrives in December but this stamp set is a good reason to do Christmas in August!  :)
This card started out with me using a different patterned paper and then I saw this cute polka dot pattern that comes with the "Snowhaven" paper pack and...I was in love! It is so cute and I can see some great potential with it, beyond Christmas or Winter-themed projects.
I kept this card rather simple, using Silver Glitter Paper, Black Sequins, Clear Sparkles, and Red Glitter Gems to bling it up a bit.
Here, I stamped the sentiment on a Dimensional Element, added some bling, and decorated this fun Designer Creations Ruby Paper Bag.  It is perfect for a fun little goodie.  They also come in Slate and Lagoon.
Head on over to Tonya's Blog as she showcases some fun artwork using "Happy Hexagons".  Be sure to let me know how you like these creations and this stamp set!

Happy hoppin'!
