Hostess Exclusive Stamp Sets - Blog Hop

Welcome to our Blog Hop!  If you have arrived here from Tonya's Blog, you are on the right track.  I am the start of the hop but you will find a complete list of participants at the bottom of the post, should you get lost along the way.

Close to My Heart offers three stamp sets that are exclusive to Hostesses and they are so fun that we wanted to be sure you are aware of them.  To earn them all you have to do is to reach $150 in purchases - either by yourself or gather a few friends to place an order - and when you do so, you can get either, or all three, for a phenomenal price!

For example, I am using this Paper Birds stamp set that has a retail value of $13.95 and you can redeem just $8 of your hostess rewards money to get it!  (Contact me for any questions you may have.)
This is the card I created!  I incorporate the heart image and the smile sentiment.
For the texture on the background I used the "Brushstrokes" stamp set.  I used the bottom, left image and stamped it separately, three times, in Lagoon, Cotton Candy and Pixie inks.
I did use a Journaling Pen for the doodling around the edge of the Pixie cardstock.

Thanks for stopping by and head on over to Marianne's Blog to see what artwork she has in store for you.

Happy hoppin'!

Here is a list of the participants and links to their blogs.

Stampers with an Attitude, Taste of Summer Blog Hop

Welcome to our Blog Hop where we are showcasing this exclusive and fun paper pack, and stamp set, in honor of National Scrapbooking Month.  I have had so much fun with it already and the month isn't even near being over!

If you have arrived here from Melinda's Blog, you are on the right track.  You can find a complete listing of participants by visiting her site as she is the start of the hop.

I had such fun creating this layout using these products!  It highlights the fun I had last weekend at National Scrapbook Day, on Saturday, May 2nd.
The layout is pretty self explanatory but I did use the Artbooking cartridge for the banner titles on both pages and the precious bow was cut with the Artiste cartridge.

These photos make me smile and remind me of the fun we had that day!

Hop on over to Catherine's Blog, but not before leaving a comment.

Happy Mother's Day to all you Mothers out there!  I hope you have enjoyed a blessed and enjoyable day!  Happy hoppin'!

It's Time to Party!

I am retreatin' this weekend with my Mom and quite a few papercraftin' friends.  This was one of the goodies placed at their spot upon their arrival.
I used yellow vinyl to cut out their monograms and placed them on mason jars.  My friend's husband cut the holes in the lid where I inserted a cute, yellow-striped straw.   (Yes, that is homemade lemonade my dear friend, Lisa, made.)
This tag was cut out of Art Philosophy and then I used the ADORABLE, "Ice Cold Summer" stamp set to stamp the images.  I second-generation stamped the glass, in Canary ink, and then stamped the lemons on top of it.  I used daubers to sponge ink on the glass and then added the straw in Cranberry ink.  Too fun, right?!

I hope you are having a super Saturday!

Jackson CTMH Paper Focus - Blog Hop

This month my team, the Heartfelt Sentiments, are showcasing one of the newest Close To My Heart paper packs, "Jackson".  It has an outdoorsy theme but also offers some versatility.
If you arrived here from Debi's Blog, you are on the right track.  A list of the participants are listed at the bottom of my post.

I chose to use the Jackson Picture My Life Scrapbooking Program for my artwork this month.
While my husband and I do not engage in camping-like activities, I thought many of the cards were perfect for commemorating this fun day when we went to downtown Fort Worth and had some fun.  ESPN was broadcasting live, in preparation for the Bowl College Series National Championship Game.  I was scene on live tv and I got to meet and had photo opportunities with some of the ESPN analysts.
Click on the photo for an enlarged view.
I love how this page came out and feel it really captures all of the pictures...just perfectly.  LOL Tim Tebow, getting ready to go on set, posed for this picture just for me...  :)

We had a blast and these fun pictures remind me of the enjoyable and COLD day!

Would love for you to leave a comment before heading over to Melissa David's Blog.  Have a blessed and awesome week and happy hoppin'!

National Scrapbook Day Goodies

I had a fun National Scrapbooking Day event on Saturday and these were the items I made to place at everyone's spot.
The cups were purchased at the Dollar Tree for $1 and they had beautiful colors - orange, turquoise, green and red.  I don't know that you can tell from this photo but they also had fruit coasters that were plastic and I had to get them since that was the theme of my goodies.  (This cup is sitting on an orange.)  I loved that they matched perfectly.  I cut the monograms out of white vinyl.

I stamped the name tag with the Taste of Summer stamp set.  Here is a close-up of mine.
I posted details about the mini albums in a previous post so click HERE if you want more information on them.  I randomized who got what at their spots but they were allowed to swap their mini album out for a different style as they arrived - a benefit for showing up early. LOL

I love that they were all enjoyed.  This is what I love to do!  Now...I am creating goodies for my retreat to be held this weekend where I will get to spend Mother's Day with my Mom and all of our scrappin' peeps!

Make it a great Monday!

Scrapbookin' with My Peeps

I had a fabulous time scrapbooking all weekend at my friend's, Debi's, retreat at Crafty Creations.  On Saturday, we celebrated National Scrapbook Day with a total of 24 people!  We had a house full of fun and lots of papercrafting!  We played Bingo, complete with prizes, and enjoyed delicious food.  These are some of the ladies who joined me in the fun!

It was a fabulous day and I wouldn't have chosen to celebrate it any other way!  I had such a blast!

Happy National Scrapbooking Day!

If you haven't already planned to spend the day scrapbooking away, hurry and cancel everything as today is National Scrapbooking Day! LOL  I am celebrating the day with 20+ scrapbookers at Crafty Creations Retreat in Mansfield, TX (in the Dallas-Fort Worth area)!  The day will be full of fun, goodies, and plenty of papercrafting goodness!

This is one of the goodie items made for my guests.  It is a little mini scrapbook made with the Taste of Summer paper packet and exclusive stamp set, available this month only!  (You can find more details about them by clicking here.)
The paper pack and stamp set coordinate perfectly and were fun for the front covers of these mini albums.  Inside of the mini album are Flip Flaps.  The dimensions for the front and back cover are two sheets of cardstock measuring 4 1/2" x 7 1/4".  I scored both pieces at 7/8" to create a nice seam so they can fold back easily, for inserting photos into the pages.

If you have any questions about these, please let me know.  They were super easy and fun to make.

If you are scrapbooking (or papercrafting) today, leave a message and let me know what you are creating!  I would love to hear from you!

Have an awesome day, scrapbookin' the day away!

Happy National Scrapbooking Month!

Happy National Scrapbooking Month!  Like I need a reason to scrapbook but a whole month of reasons provided for me?  I'll take it!
Close To My Heart has outdone itself once again with an exclusive paper packet AND stamp set to coordinate, for May, and you will want to be sure to add both of them to your shopping cart!
The Taste of Summer stamp set (pictured above) is just $17.95 and coordinates perfectly with the exclusive paper pack, also called "Taste of Summer" (pictured below).
The paper pack comes with 2 sheets each of these beautiful 6 patterns for a total of 12 sheets of patterned paper - for just $8.95!  The front design has fruit and floral images and the back designs (as beautiful as the front) have some fun and bright patterns on them.  It is perfect for the summer season and will look great on your cards and layouts!  You can place your order through my website.

Be sure to check back tomorrow when you will see a fun goodie item I created with both of them!

Here's to a fabulous month of scrappin' and whatever else you delight in!

Happy National Scrapbook Month!
