Stampers with an Attitude Blog Hop - Charlotte/Easter

Welcome to our Blog Hop as members of the Stampers with an Attitude Team, within Close To My Heart, showcase artwork using the Charlotte product line or create something with an Easter theme.  Guess which one I chose?!  No peeking! :)

If you are coming from Catherine's Blog, you are on the right track.  Should you get lost along the way you can find a complete list of participants by clicking here.

The card I created contains a few favorites right now.  Can you guess what they are?!  The papers and colors from the Kaleidoscope paper pack scream Easter/Spring to me so I chose to incorporate them.  I also random-stamped a piece of Pixie cardstock, using the fun "Friend in Me" stamp set (pictured below) which is also where the 3-D floral image is from.  I colored it, and shaded the tone-on-tone flowers, with our ShinHan Markers and also used our Metallic Gold Marker for a little accent on the flower center.  I had never used it before but don't tell anyone!  I can tell it will get some good use now.
The bunny was stamped using the Spring Critters stamp set.  I paperpieced the bunny's banner by stamping the image again on the Pear patterned paper, cutting it out and gluing it on top of the original image.  Too fun, right?!  The bunny was colored in using the Light Pink ShinHan Marker and the lighter areas were generated by using the Color Blender Marker which I love!
If you do not know why these images have a blue outline around them it is because they can be cut using our new Thin Cuts!  (We have four sets of them that were released at the first of the month.)  Place the image on your Cuttlebug or other diecut machine and crank them through.  Then use the stamps to create the image that you can decorate as you choose.  No fussy-cutting required!
Bling is always a necessity on every piece of artwork so I include some White and Gold Ribbon and Gold Heart Puffie.  They were the perfect finishing touch to this happy card!
This is the Friend in Me stamp set.  LOVE the sentiments and flowers and even if you do not have a sister like I do, it is very versatile!  I cannot wait to use it on other creations!
Thank you for visiting my blog.  Let me know what you think about my card creation.  I would totally appreciate it and then head on over to Tammy's Blog to view her artwork.

Some Bunny Loves You!

This card was too fun to create and darling for this time of the year!
I used the adorable stamp set, "Hopping By", for the stamped images.  The paper used comes from the Paper Fundamentals Whimsy Assortment.  One side of the paper has a glossy, embossed pattern.  (It does not always photograph well but I think you get the idea.)  I love the texture and variety it offers!
I paper-pieced the carrot and carrot-top.  What does paper-piecing mean?  It means I stamped the original image on a piece of White Daisy cardstock and then stamped it again on the Sunset B&T paper, from the Scaredy Cat Paper Packet, and cut it out.  I stamped the image...one more time...on Pear cardstock and cut out the leafy part.  I glued both pieces on the original stamped image and this was the result.  I used ShinHan markers to color in the rest of the image.  While paper-piecing takes a little bit of time...it sure is worth it!  Try it and let me know what you think!

A scalloped circle cut out of Pear cardstock, and some white accents and I was done!  Because of the glossy texture of the paper, I did stamp the sentiment in Archival Black Ink and allows for it to dry.
I used this sketch from Freshly Made Sketches - #178 to design this card.  Totally love when I have a point of inspiration.
I hope you enjoy the card.  Feel free to shop on my website if you need some supplies to create handmade Easter/Spring cards!  Click HERE to be directed there.

Happy Thursday!

CTMH Paper Pack Focus - Hopscotch

There are eight of us highlighting this FUN paper packet!  A list of participants is located at the bottom of the post should you get lost along the way.

If you are coming here from Marianne's Blog, you are on the right track!

First of all...isn't this stamp set stinkin' cute?!  LOL  I love it - and obviously picked out this image and these sentiments to use on the card - but the whole thing is cute!
This card design come from our Make It From Your Heart how-to book.  I totally love being able to have a foundation for my creation with the ability focus on the design.  I colored in the image with our ShinHan markers, and used the Colorless Blender to pull ink "off" - making some areas lighter and allowing for the shading.
I did 3-D the image and then stamped the two sentiments in Black ink and yes...you guessed it!  I added a little piece of Gold Shimmer Trim and
The photos of this paper pack just do not do it justice!  You must see it in person!  It is so fun and cheery!
Now head on over to Melissa David's Blog to see what she has in store for you!

S'mores Meets Peeps

I am blessed to be at a retreat this weekend with my friend and sideline, through Close To My Heart, Sundi Hendrix.  She was generous enough to allow me to crash her team retreat and it has been a blast!  I have created several projects and learned several new techniques and projects ideas.

This cute idea is created from a brown paper back.  In the pocket is a bite size Hershey's bar, a Peep, and some graham crackers.  It is the perfect Easter treat and message.

I hope you are enjoying your weekend as must as I am!  See you again tomorrow!

Happy Easter!

I pray you are geared up to enjoy a blessed day while celebrating the resurrection of Jesus!  We must remember the reason for this season.

I had fun decorating our My Creations Clear Treat Tubes with the C-U-T-E (I use that word a lot in my posts, huh?) Easter Wishes stamp set.
It is a good thing this stamp set is just for Easter or you might have seen it on quite a few of my creations throughout the year.  It is stinkin' cute!  I used just a couple of the images on this item but I LOVE all of them!  The sentiments are just as adorable as the egg and chicks.
I have enjoyed playing with theses tubes.  You get three tubes for just $5.95 and the possibilities are endless!  Looking forward to continuing to come up with new design ideas for them.
Happy Easter,
