Anything Goes: Heart 2 Heart Challenge

Welcome to this week's Heart 2 Heart Challenge where our theme is "Anything Goes". That's right! You can create anything you want and link up to our Challenge as long as you incorporate at least some Close To My Heart products in your creation! Let us see what you have to share!

For a retreat a couple of months ago, I created this handmade sanitizer holder for my guests. If you know me well you know I'm seldom caught without it! ;)

I found the directions on this blog and found they were super easy to assemble once I made the first one. It uses little paper and NO scissors nor adhesive. Isn't that great?! Plus, it becomes a cost-effective treat when you can buy 5 bottles for just $6 (at Bath & Body Works). I think everyone enjoyed receiving one!

I hope you'll join us for this week's challenge or for any others for July. We love when you share your creativity with us and look forward to seeing what you have designed.

Make it a great week!

Welcome to our Blog Hop where we are featuring the "You Are Here" Cricut Collection - available both as a physical cartridge or digitally.

Whether you're traveling abroad, taking a road trip, or enjoying a relaxing staycation, this Cricut Collection is sure to have everything you need to document your journey. From ourdoor escapades and family reunions to spa retreats and holiday outings, you'll find shapes and sentiments for every pit stop along the road of life.
The collection includes the following:

  • 1 - cartridge OR online code for accessing the images online (whichever you choose to purchase) which includes 700 images: shapes, titles, phrases, and font
  • 3 - My Acrylix D-size stamp sets
  • 1 - Enchantment cardstock combo pack (two-toned)

It's an AWESOME VALUE! Want to view the shape index? Click on the link to see what's contained on this cartridge. There is such a great variety of shapes.

If you are coming from Gina's Blog, you are on the right track. You can find a list of participants by clicking here.

I am so excited to share with you my creation, a little goodie perfect for any time of the year!
Using the You Are Here coffee cup, I paper-pieced this adorable treat together, forming a box for a small goodie. (I had a similar pattern from years ago - not sure where I obtained it from - and decided to recreate it.)

Papers used: Cardstock - Kraft, Cranberry, White Daisy; Patterned Paper - from Beary Christmas.
Here is a view of its dimension. (It is slightly less than 3" tall.) The bag inside contains some chocolate - a perfect treat, don't you agree?! I love creating little gift items for people and hope you find inspiration from this.
  • Design space link for the coffee cup: https://design.cricut.com/#/design/76152785 (You have to own the cartridge to access the link.)
  • Cut two of each piece for the front and back coffee cup.
Here is the image for cutting the base. A better image can be obtained by clicking here.
Cardstock measures 3" x 5 1/4". Along the 5 1/4" side, score at 1", 2 1/8", 3 1/8", and 5 3/8". On the 3" side, score at 1". Get a solid crease on each score line. Cut on the red lines. Form a box, overlapping the first and last panel. Form the box bottom. Add the coffee mugs on the front and bag. Fill with a tasty treat.

I love comments on my blog. Consider leaving one and then please head over to Melinda's Blog to view her artwork creation using this Cricut Collection.

Happy hoppin'!
