Deck the Palms Blog Hop
I'm excited you are joining us for this Blog Hop featuring the exclusive "Deck the Palms" product collection that can be used for anything tropical, including a tropical Christmas! With its unique design, you can flip over the paper to change the themes. Isn't that wonderful?
If you are coming from Wendy's Blog, you are on the right path. You can find a list of participants by clicking here.
I am sharing several pieces of artwork as it's easy to fall in love with all things in this Collection.
I decided to go with a tropical Christmas for this card as we have family members in Florida and it would be perfect for them. Truth be told, I wouldn't mind celebrating Christmas in Florida (LOL) for an excuse to scrapbook some photos with this beautiful paper.
I used the smaller flamingo from the card workshop but then fussy cut the Santa's hat from the larger flamingo and then just glued it on top. For my card design, I found the larger flamingo was a bit too big when I wanted to use the patterned paper and show enough of it.
I enjoyed adding a few of the Acrylic Shapes to use as embellishments on this card. Did you know they are now thinner than they used to be? I love that CTMH changed that, allowing us to use them on cards and other mailed items.
Besides the color combination being awesome and bright on these cards, I also love how we used the White Gel Pen to create accents on the ornaments. These cards are just super happy and I'm totally fine with working outside of the traditional Christmas colors.
If you haven't checked out these workshop options, be sure to click on the respective product offerings. This "Deck the Palms" Special is a must-have and only available through the end of December 2021, while supplies last.
Now it's time to have fun by seeing what the others have created to share with you! Head on over to Cat Scrapbooking to view her creation! We appreciate you stopping by and letting us know what you think by leaving comments! Enjoy the rest of your week!

Heart 2 Heart "Glitz and Glitter" Challenge
Welcome to the second September challenge for Heart 2 Heart. The title is "Glitz and Glitter" and papercrafters everywhere are invited to join us by sharing your interpretation of the theme. Create something fun, using at least one Close To My Heart product, and link up to us on the Blog. We love seeing what you create!
If you have never purchased, nor used, Close To My Heart Glitter Paper, you are missing out on a top quality paper! It's cardstock weight AND doesn't fall off on you, nor your creating surface; a definite plus! We offer it in a variety of beautiful colors and I loved incorporating both Sapphire and Silver on this card.
A little splash of Carolina Cardstock, and a background of Sapphire cardstock (on the light side), and some Silver Loose Sequins were a perfect addition to this pattern from Volume 5 of Make It From Your Heart.

Grateful for This Life Blog Hop

These wonderful words and phrases are great, in many combinations, for any piece of artwork. The 16 images are valued at $18.95 and can be yours FREE (if you're a VIP), or for $5, with a $50 purchase.
If you are coming from Maureen's Blog, you are on the right track. You can find a complete list of participants here.
I enjoyed making this Slimline Card, incorporating the Pumpkin Spice patterned paper, Rose Gold Foil Paper, and Gold Embossing Powder. While I wasn't sure of the natural sunlight on the photo, I decided to leave it as is because you can see how the elements look in different lighting.
When combining Gold and Rose Gold, I was pleased with how they looked together. I researched if that was acceptable, fashion-wise, and they are. Whew!
Thank you very much for stopping by. Head on over to Cat Scrapbooking, and continue to make your way around the Hop, to see some fun ideas using these stamp images.
Make it a great month!
