If you know me well, you know I couldn't resist using these bright colors on my card. I chose various colors of the Tri-Blend makers to color in the images. I stamped three times to make the border and I like what it adds to the card. A simple sentiment and White Dots and I called it done!

Thank you for stopping by to see this simple yet colorful greeting card. I hope you like it!

"Doodled Borders" Stamp of the Month Blog Hop

Happy February! It's always fun to start a new month because we get to welcome in an awesome new Stamp of the Month! If you are coming from Wendy's Blog, you are on the right track. You can find a complete list of participants here

This month's set is called "Doodled Borders", and as you can see, it contains 36 AWESOME stamp images that are fun and whimsical! Through this Blog Hop, you'll get to see fun ways that it is used.

If you aren't familiar with our Stamp of the Month Special, you can get this stamp set, valued at $18.95, FREE or for $5, with a qualifying order. You can find details about the special by clicking here

Love is definitely in the air this month, and I ended up making this "lovely" card using various images from the set.

Unsure what I was going to create, I wanted to incorporate the Mini Envelope Thin Cut. I couldn't resist tossing in some of the stamp images from the set and then realized I had some stickers from the Perfect Match Special. Plus, that adorable patterned paper is totally cute for the envelope, don't you think?

While there's a lot of stuff going on with the card, I do feel it conveys as reflected in the sentiment: "love joy happiness". I did use some Silver Foil paper, although not easily reflected in the photo.

Now head on over to Cat's Blog, to see what she has created to share with you. I hope you have a blessed and enjoy February!

"O-fish-ally Awesome" Stamp of the Month Blog Hop

Happy April! This month we've got a fabulous Blog Hop to highlight an awesome stamp set called "O-fish-ally Awesome"! If you are coming from Cat's Blog, you are on the right track. You can find a complete list of participants by clicking here

This awesome Stamp of the Month set, comprised of 37 images, can be yours for just $5. Valued at $18.95, you can get it at this phenomenal price when you place a minimum order of $50 (before shipping and tax). Click here for details on that special as well as to view additional artwork created from Close To My Heart.

I had fun making this card which somewhat came together by accident. I decided to try a technique a team member of mine had shared with me.

For the lighter blue color, on the background, I took one of our Clear Acrylic Blocks and applied some Lagoon Reinker. I then added some water, generously, to it. Then, taking some plastic packaging from a Shimmer Brush, I stuck it in the wet substance and then patted it onto the White Daisy Cardstock. (Pssst...cardstock is on sale this month!)

For the darker blue, I used the Sapphire Shimmer Brush. I made it pretty wet and then tapped it over my index finger to create the splotches. It was super fun. (I will be sharing a video in my VIP Group soon, and maybe on my YouTube Channel. Contact me if you want to be able to see it.)

Here is a close-up view of the card front. For the "sand", I used Kraft Paper and tore it into strips. Then using the "sand" stamp images, and Toffee ink, I added it to create additional texture. All images were colored with our Watercolor Pencils and blended with a Watercolor Brush

A few irridescent Sequins were added to create some "bubbles". I hope you like what I have to share with you!

"Family Legacy" - March Stamp of the Month Blog Hop

Happy March! We are already into the third month of 2020; can you believe it? We've got the "Family Legacy" Stamp of the Month to share with you this month as well as some BRAND NEW PRODUCTS (released TODAY!) in this beautiful Idea Book!

You'll want to be sure to check it out. (It went live at 12 midnight MST!)

This stamp set,  of 17 images, has some beautiful fleurs that can provide for a great background on a card or layout. The images are beautiful for heritage photos as well. I'm sure you'll see some fun uses for it as you make your way around our Blog Hop and it can be yours for $5, with a $50 purchase this month (only).

If you are coming from Cat's Blog, you are on the right track. You can find a list of participants by clicking here.

I decided to use the fleur images to random-stamp a background for this 6 x 8 Everyday Life page. Combined with some paper from the NEW Mix-In paper pack, and with some distressed cardstock, I included the title and sentiment. The twine and Gold Glitter Gems were added for finishing touches.

Now head over to Lauren's Blog to see what piece of artwork she has created to share with you.

Wishing you the greatest March ever! Happy hoppin'!

"Bear Hugs" - July Stamp of the Month Blog Hop

Happy July! Welcome to this month's Blog Hop where our focus is the "Bear Hugs" Stamp of the Month. It's available this month only for $5, with a qualifying purchase! (All details can be found here.)

Check out the adorable images and sentiments. Isn't it super sweet? Who can you see these sentiments applying to, in your life?

If you are coming from Katy's Blog, you are on the right track. You can find a complete list of participants here

Using the True Love paper pack, I chose to make this different fold card for this stamp image. I know I want to continue making cards with it - and have some ideas to do so - but thought I'd start here.

I didn't do anything fancy in the way of stamping. I inked up the bears in Espresso ink and then used a color pencil to color in the cub. A few Sugarplum Glitter Gems and that was it!

To create this style of card, I scored the front of my base at 2 1/8" (half of 4 1/4"). Then, I bent it backwards and added the focal point. When it's closed, as seen in the top image, you'll see that some of the patterned paper, placed on the inside of the card, is exposed. In most cases, you'll want to stamp the image behind the focal point so you can't see it. I used Sapphire ink to do so.

Here's a view of it open so you have a better understanding of how it's designed.

I truly appreciate you stopping by and am excited to see what variations the other Consultants have created with this set! I know it's going to be fun!

Now head on over to Michelle's Blog to see what she has created with this stamp set! Consider leaving a comment before you move on. I love hearing from you!

Have a wonderful July!

Heartfelt Sentiments - February Stamp of the Month

Happy February! Thank you for joining us for this month's Stamp of the Month Blog Hop. We have a beautiful stamp set to share with you and it happens to be the name of my team name, "Heartfelt Sentiments". How cool is that?!

These beautiful images will create great artwork and you can get them for $5, when you place a qualifying order. Details about the Stamp of the Month special can be found on this area of my website

If you are coming from Wendy's Blog, you are on the right track. To find a complete list of Consultant participants, click here

For my card, I chose to incorporate some random-stamping of the small and separate floral and leaf images from the stamp set.

You can see how I placed them on the block and rotated the images to create the design above. By using the Archival Black ink pad, I was able to color with our Watercolor Pencils and then used the Clear Shimmer Brush to add some sparkle (although difficult to see in the photo).

I am excited to see what creative ways the participants in our Blog Hop incorporated this stamp set and I hope you are too!

Head on over to Cat's Blog to see what she has created.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Wishing you all the best this month!
